7,670 Palestinians arrested in West Bank since October 7

The reported arrests included 246 women and nearly 500 children, the Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) revealed.

61 journalists were also detained during the same reported period, 40 of whom are still detained today, while 23 were placed in administrative detention.

The PPS also pointed out that 4,343 administrative detention orders have been issued since Oct. 7, many of which were against women and children.

The reported arrests included those who were arrested in home raids, at military checkpoints, and those who were forced to surrender themselves under the threat of their family arrest.
