The seventh annual conference of the international Quds institution is to discuss in Beirut in mid January the retreat in official and popular Arab support for the holy occupied city of Jerusalem, Dr. Mohammed Al-Adloni, the institution’s secretary general, said.

He said in a statement that members of the institution’s board of trustees residing in Lebanon held a consultative meeting on Wednesday in Beirut to discuss latest developments in occupied Jerusalem and to follow up preparations for the seventh conference.

Adloni said that the conference, to be held under the patronage of the Lebanese president Michel Suleiman, would hold closed sessions on future policies of the institution and projects in the holy city.

He noted that the conference would host three seminars on main challenges in the battle for Jerusalem, protection of Jerusalem in the international law, and evaluating the Islamic Nation’s interaction with the issue of Jerusalem.
