The Iraqi Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki renewed call for backing the approaches intended to find a swift political solution to the crisis in Syria.
In statements on the sidelines of the 12th Islamic Summit in Cairo, al-Maliki said that there are available prospects for finding an exit route out of the Syrian crisis that realizes the aspirations of the Syrian people.
He added that Iraq has long experienced meddling in its affairs, adding that his country now rests on bases of democracy, elections and partnership.
