Iranian Sunni community to mark revolution demo

Sunni leader in the Iranian Province of Southern Khorasan hailed the role of late Imam Khomeini (RA) in boosting Islamic unity and vowed the participation of Sunni community in the demonstrations to be held for anniversary of Islamic Revolution.
Mowlavi Ahmadreza Rezaee, prayer leader of Dermian County in Southern Khorasan Province in an exclusive interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) referred to the plans of the Iranian Sunni communities to mark the anniversary of Islamic Revolution and announced the support of the society to the objectives of late Imam Khomeini (RA) and the Supreme Leader, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He said,” We, Sunni scholars, will widely attend the demonstrations to be held on February 10th and will prove that we are loyal to the high objectives of late Imam Khomeini (RA) and a true supporter of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.”

He praised the role of late Imam Khomeini (RA) in victory of Islamic Revolution and urged for all-out support of the values of the Islamic Republic system.

This Sunni cleric called February 10th, anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, as the day when the victory of Muslims and failure of the arrogant powers realized and people who have been oppressed for many years were freed.

He praised the achievements of the Islamic Revolution and noted, “The revolution that was founded by late Imam Khomeini (RA) and the cooperation of the Iranian nation has set an example of unity among all Islamic countries.”

Mowlavi Rezaee warned against the plots of the enemies to disunite Muslims and said, “Enemies have to know that Muslims are fully aware and will foil the plots by strengthening their fraternity and spreading Islamic unity.”
