Abu Zuhri: Uraikat’s statement points to Zio-American pressures

Recent statements by Fatah leader Saeb Uraikat indicated that Zio-American pressures were being exerted on Ramallah not to proceed in the reconciliation process, Dr. Sami Abu Zuhri, a Hamas spokesman, said.

Abu Zuhri said in a statement on Wednesday night that his movement was keen on reconciliation despite the Zionist pressures and the American veto.

He hoped that the Palestinian leaders especially Fatah leader and PA chief Mahmoud Abbas would not bow to such pressures.

Urikat stated that Israel was offering to release tax money for the PA in return for backtracking on national reconciliation.
