First round of Iran-5+1 talks wraps up in Almaty
According to IRNA, there were no news provided to press and media as to the probability of continuing talks on Tuesday evening or Wednesday.
The details of talks have not been revealed yet. The 5+1 group was to offer new incentives to Iran in this round of talks. Sources close to the Iranian delegation said that Iran too had proposals to make as well.
Representatives of Iran and the sextet, known as 5+1 group, started first round of fresh talks in ex-Kazakh capital Tuesday morning.
Iran’s Secretary of Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili and European Union Foreign Policy Chief Catherine Ashton are co-chairing the talks on behalf of the Iranian delegation and the 5+1 group, respectively.
The 5+1 group includes the US, Britain, France, Russia and China plus Germany.
