The international conference titled “Palestine: Manifestation of Muslim Ummah’s Unity,” was held in Islam Abad, Pakistan.
According to RASA news agency, a number of scholars and politicians from Pakistan and some other countries gathered in this conference to discuss their opinions about Palestine and International Quds Day.
Emphasizing on the legitimacy of Palestine, the participants made it clear that the Islamic Ummah will soon get back this land from the clutches of the Zionists.
The speakers at the international conference on Palestine lashed out at United Nations for its failure to resolve the longstanding Palestinian issue. They said that the UN was an outdated organization that has no use in international affairs.
They said that non-representative monarchies in the Arab Muslim countries were trying to cover up the heinous crimes against humanity by the Zionists. They urged the Muslim rulers to play leading role for liberation of Palestine and the occupied lands from the yoke of the Zionist regime instead of lip service that served the interests of the regime.
The attendants of this international confab expressed concern over the condition of around 6 million Palestinians who have been forced to live as refugees. They demanded that practical steps be taken immediately to ensure return of these refugees to their homeland Palestine and also the freedom of the Palestinian prisoners.
Saying that Pakistan has also fallen victim to the Zionists plots and terrorism because it has never recognized Israel as a legitimate state, they emphasized that Palestine is a legitimate country and world powers have to recognize this very fact.
