Iran’s Islamic unity center condemns Lebanese cleric assassination

Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought issued a message condemning the assassination of prominent Lebanese Sunni cleric.

An outstanding center for boosting Islamic solidarity across the world, World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought in it recent message slammed assassination of Sa’ad al Din Ghiyyah, renowned Sunni cleric in Tripoli, Lebanon, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

This message denounces Takfiri (excommunicating) groups, who struggle for out breaking religious intrigues and fueling war between Muslims, to be behind the attack.

Late Sheikh Sa’ad al Din Ghiyyah was an official in the Islamic Action Front and a member of the academic board of Lebanon’s Muslim Scholars Assembly, recently assassinated in Tripoli Lebanon.
