The Syrian prime minister said yesterday evening that the Turkish government is still supporting terrorists in Syria.
According to IRIB World Service citing ChamPress, Wael Al Halqi stated that the ruling Justice and Development Party in Turkey is financially and logistically supporting terrorists by providing them with the safe and secure ways for rebels to enter Syria.
Al Halqi went on to say that the Turkish government helps terrorists for further bloodshed in Syria and added: “The Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is hand in glove with the terrorists on committing atrocities in Syria.” He also said that based on his illusions, Erdogan dreams of restoring his country to the era of [Ottoman] empire and tries to rule the region by implementing the US plots.”
He reiterated that Erdogan’s hollow mottos regarding freedom and democracy have affected the relation between Syrians and Turkish people and has made many problems for Ankara and its neighbouring countries.
Al Halqi, referring to the current crisis in Syria said: “This country is tackling with global terrorism and every kind of aggressions and attacks, but Damascus is determined to fight with terrorists till their utter eradication from the soil of Syria.
