Deputy secretary general of Pakistan’s major Islamic Party has called upon Muslim Ummah to unite to frustrate the designs of West against Islam.

Talking to IRNA, Dr. Fareed Ahmed Paracha, of Jamat-e-Islami said that West is trying to create a wedge between the Islamic countries but they would not be able to accomplish their evil designs.

He said there are absolutely no differences among Muslim world but some western anti-Islam elements are trying to weaken the Muslim world by their conspiracies.

The politician was of the view that western conspiracies would fail against the Islamic world.

The JI leader said the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei is the leader of Ummah and playing a positive role to unite Muslims of the world.

Dr Paracha said that the Founder of the Islamic Republic the late Imam Khomeini had also stressed the unity of Muslim nations. “Today Muslims must follow the teachings of Imam Khomeini and unite for the prosperity of Ummah,” he noted.

The religious leader said that Iran is a major Muslim country and has been playing an effective role for the betterment of Muslim world.

Expressing his views former senator said there is absolutely no sectarian problem in Muslim world. He added that some western states are hatching conspiracies to light the fire of sectarianism.

The JI leader stressed that Islamic media should work for the unity of Muslims in practical manner.
