Syrian Air Force Kills Dozens of ISIL Terrorists in Deir Ezzur

13921107000656_PhotoI The Syrian air force killed dozens of terrorists of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) in the Eastern parts of the country.
The air force killed at least 50 militants during an attack on an ISIL camp in Deir Ezzur province.

Also in the past 24 hours, the military sources announced that the Syrian army declared Al-Dukhaniye a safe place.

Meantime, the Syrian Armed Forces won the battle against the foreign-backed rebels in Aleppo countryside, inflicting heavy casualties upon them.

The Syrian Army carried out a series of operations in Aleppo and its countryside, claiming the lives of a large number of rebels in Hamimeh, Retya, al-Ashrafiyeh, al-Bab, Kafr Hamra, Qubtan al-Jabal, Khan Touman, al-Ramouseh, and Bani Zaid.

Elsewhere, the Syrian Army stormed the strongholds of the militants in a series of operations in the countryside of Homs and Quneitra, killing and injuring a large number of them.

The Syrian soldiers pushed backed the rebels in a number of areas in Homs countryside, including Muhandessin, Deir Fuul and Qasr Ibn Wardan and killed many of them.

The militants’ gathering centers were also targeted in the Southern province of Quneitra in a number of successful operations carried out by the army in which many of the rebels lost their lives in al-Khazragieh in Sa’sa’, al-Samadanieh al-Gharbieh, Rasm al-Shouli, and Jabata al-Khashab.

The rebels’ hideouts were also targeted in the vicinity of al-Alam district, Akraba, al-Hejjeh, al-Sweiseh, Nabe’ al-Sakhr, Tal Antar, Tal Qreen and Tal al-Allaqiyeh.

Also, the Syrian army killed a notorious commander of Jaysh al-Islam Takfiri terrorist group in Damascus countryside.

Abu Rateb Badran was killed near the town of al-Dukhaniye in the Eastern countryside of Damascus on Saturday, the Lebanese Al-Ahd news website reported.

Al-Dukhaniye was the scene of heavy clashes between army troops and the Al-Nusra Front terrorists since Thursday, and tens of militants have been killed and dozens more wounded.

Meantime, the Syrian army seized back the strategic town of Helfaya in the Central province of Hama from the Al-Nusra Front terrorists after heavy clashes.

Military sources in the region told FNA that over 1,500 Al-Nusra Front militants have fled to other nearby villages.

In Joubar, the army killed and injured many terrorists, and targeted a long convoy of their vehicles loaded with weapons and ammunitions.

A military source said that the Syrian soldiers stormed the hideouts of the militants in Kanaker, Beit Jann and al-Qalamoun in the countryside of Damascus.

Scores of Syrian and non-Syrian militants, including Riyad al-Qasir, Fadi Laqis, Mohammad al-Samadi, Abdullah al-Matiri (from Saudi Arabia), Jamal Baidoun, Mohammad Saqraq were eliminated in the operations.

Syria has been the scene of massive fighting between the government of President Bashar al-Assad along with the country’s armed forces with foreign-backed extremist groups since 2011 when the western countries and their regional allies’ meddling triggered an over three-year-long civil war in the Middle-Eastern country.

Based on the UN statistics, the country’s death toll has passed 190,000, while millions of civilians have been displaced both inside and outside of Syria.
