Exclusive- Students carry cowpat to heat their school in 21st century Turkey

Here is Turkey’s Ağrı Doğubayazıt region where the students of Atabakan Primary School carry cowpat in order to heat their 5 classrooms at school. Students carry cowpat everyday to set on fire coal.
There are 77 students and 5 teachers at Atabakan Primary School in Atabakan village where nearly 750 people live. There is no toilets nor handbasin in this old school that was built nearly 35 years ago. The students carry their drinking water in cans. Students ask permission to go their homes when they need toilets. All parents of the students are angry with this hard condition of their students.
