China is hoping for progress in the latest round of talks on the Iranian nuclear program as Tehran and its negotiating partners push to secure a comprehensive deal by June 30.
The Chinese side hopes that all parties will keep up the “good work” after achieving consensus on the “key elements” of a comprehensive agreement earlier this month, Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei said at his regular press conference on Thursday.
He called on Iran and the P5+1 group to address each other’s concerns, resolve the outstanding issues completely and immediately, and press ahead with efforts to conclude a comprehensive agreement.
