The Syrian Al-Qaeda group “Jabhat Al-Nusra – alongside their comrades from Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham and the Free Syrian Army’s “Al-Zabadani Hawks Brigade” – are encircled and under siege by the Syrian Armed Forces and Hezbollah inside the resort-city of Al-Zabadani.

With no outlet to retreat, Jabhat Al-Nusra and company are facing a difficult predicament: do they surrender to the Syrian Armed Forces and Hezbollah? Or do they attempt to lift this brutal siege of Al-Zabadani and Madaya?

It seems that the Syrian Armed Forces and Hezbollah have had enough of the Islamist rebels and their procrastination; in fact, they have issued their final ultimatum on Wednesday: “surrender or prepare to die.”

This message was delivered to the fighters of Jabhat Al-Nusra and Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham during a fierce firefight with the Syrian Arab Army’s 63rd Brigade of the 4th Mechanized Division at the southern outskirts of Al-Zabadani’s downtown area.

Meanwhile, north of Madaya, the SAA’s 63rd Brigade – in coordination with Hezbollah, the National Defense Forces (NDF), and the Syrian Social Nationalist Party (SSNP) – captured the Al-Suhlaha Farms after intense firefights with Liwaa Suqour Al-Zabadani and Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham on Wednesday morning in Al-Zabadani.

Near the Al-Suhlaha Farms in southern Al-Zabadani, the Syrian Armed Forces and Hezbollah once against inched closer to the Lebanese border, capturing the village of Al-Marawah near the strategic town of Madaya.
