“Since the 15 Khordad demonstrations of 1963, the Iranian people have been in the service of Islam and the formation of the Islamic Revolution and this honour and divine grace is indescribable or understandable and it is clear that a divine hand guided this movement,” Ayatollah Arafi emphasized.

Addressing a large and fervent congregation of the people on Qom’s Holy Shrine of Lady Fatimah al-Ma’sumah, Ayatollah Ali-Reza Arafi thanked the Iranian people for their “massive and passionate participation in Thursday’s 22 Bahman rallies throughout the country”, which celebrated the 37th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, calling the rallies “another epic in the history of this country.”

The head of al-Mustafa International University explained that once again, yesterday, our great nation and the people in the towns and villages throughout the country created another honour for Iran, adding: “Since the 15 Khordad demonstrations of 1963, the Iranian people have been in the service of Islam and the formation of the Islamic Revolution and this honour and divine grace is indescribable or understandable and it is clear that a divine hand guided this movement.”

His Eminence said that in the last few years, the Islamic Revolution has passed four historical stages, adding that on 22 Bahman, the people took steps to advance the Revolution with their passionate participation.

Ayatollah Arafi said that after the victory of the Islamic Revolution, our enemies tried to destroy our system but due the people’s resistance against the conspiracies of the enemies, the enemies were disappointed and the revolution was stabilized.

“The enemy has always sought to overthrow the revolution and have planned conspiracies, including the Iran-Iraq War, sowing discord and undermining the foundations of the country’s unity and leadership. Therefore, we must be vigilant,” he added.

Culture of Islamic Revolution expanding worldwide

The member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom emphasized that the ideology and culture of the Islamic Revolution is expanding throughout the region and the world. The followers of guardianship and imamate have made substantial progress. “These are the fruits of the 22nd of Bahman,” he said.
