Syria Army Captures Kinsibba Town in Lattakia

The pro-government forces won back Kinsibba after intense clashes in the outskirts of the town that was the al-Nusra Front’s last major stronghold on Jabal Akrad in Lattakia province.
The army and popular forces’ heavy attacks broke one of the most important defense lines of the terrorist groups in Kinsibba and pushed them back to Badama town in Idlib province.
Before capturing the town, the Syrian forces took control of Jabal Kinsibba and cut the militants’ major route into Kinsibba in heavy clashes.
On Wednesday, the army managed to cut the supply lines of the terrorists to Kinsibba town.
“The terrorists cannot resist any further against the army and popular forces and liberation of Kinsibba is very near,” a battlefield source said.
The source reiterated that the terrorists’ supply routes to Kinsibba have been cut by the Syrian government forces.
“The Syrian army is only 6 kilometers away from the Turkish borders,” he added.
