Border security indebted to IRGC, public mobilization

IRGC commander-in-chief has paid visit to headquarters in two border provinces of West Azerbaijan and Kurdistan.

Maj. Gen. Mohammad Ali Jafari told the local commanders as well as reporters that security of the borders hinged upon IRGC forces serving the nation in the most dangerous regions with valor and courage to provide the country with security from threats of terrorism; “our today’s security in the volatile regions of the northwest and southeast is indebted to your unswerving and unassuming service and excellent preparation in terms of strength and spiritual stamina,” he addressed the local forces.

“A key to IRGC’s success is upholding the tenets of the Revolution and cherishing its ideals; IRGC’s strategy of assigning security tasks to public mobilization and the subsequent campaign to eradicate poverty in country’s underdeveloped regions have brought forth excellent outcomes in terms of destroying terrorist and anti-Revolutionary petty groups; now the locals feel an acceptable secure environments in those provinces IRGC has been engaged,” Jafari emphasized.

“The public has shown a significant amount of coordination with security and intelligence forces in the border regions; along with projects to address poverty, the IRGC has helped in economic terms with creating jobs through its construction projects especially in West Azerbaijan and Kurdistan as a policy priority,” said the commander, concluding his remarks with expressing gratitude for aid the local public had made to IRGC general staff as their foster children.
