Syrian Air Force hammers ISIL’s positions in Deir Ezzor
The Syrian Arab Air Force (SAAYF) continued their large-scale aerial campaign in the Deir Ezzor Governorate on Saturday, targeting several sites under the control of the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS).
Starting with the Islamic State’s positions in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, the Syrian Air Force destroyed a row of armored vehicles near the Panorama Roundabout, while also scoring a direct hit on the terrorist group’s command center.
Following the airstrikes over the Panorama Roundabout, the Syrian Air Force turned their attention to the provincial capital, where they struck another Islamic State gathering inside the Al-Kanamat District.
The Syrian Air Force would continue to target Islamic State sites throughout the day, killing a large number of terrorists around the provincial capital and Deir Ezzor Military Airport.
