Last night, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) began shelling the so-called “Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham” (ISIS) and “Jabhat Fateh Al-Sham” (formerly Al-Nusra Front) in the Yarmouk Camp District of Damascus after issuing a final warning to these terrorist groups to leave this area.

According to an Al-Masdar field correspondent in Damascus, the Syrian Army gave the terrorist forces one month to surrender Yarmouk Camp in early November; however, ISIS and Jabhat Fateh Al-Sham have neither left the district no responded to this warning.

The Al-Masdar field correspondent added that the Syrian Arab Army not only shelled the terrorist forces, but they also fired three ground-to-ground missiles at the latter’s defenses inside Yarmouk Camp last night.

In the coming days, the Syrian Army and their Palestinian allies will intensify their assault on Yarmouk Camp, as they continue to pressure the terrorist forces to surrender the southern portion of this district in southern Damascus.
