Pakistan Not Planning to Join zionist Saudi-Led War on Yemen

“I cannot elaborate on the Saudi-led Coalition’s measures, but I can ensure that Pakistan does not have any contract for dispatch of military troops to Yemen,” Janjua said on Saturday, addressing a press conference in Islamabad.
He underlined that Pakistan has been depicted as a dangerous country to the international community, but it is not true, and said, “We are looking for the expansion of trade relations with different countries, not war.”
Janjua said that his country has been entangled with financial problems since 40 years ago and on the other hand Pakistan’s fragile economy has resulted in the country to turn into a center for terrorism, adding, “We are trying to remove this problem.”
In relevant remarks in April 2015, a former diplomat said Pakistan decided not to join the Saudi-led airstrikes on Yemen after it came to realize that the Saudis’ barbaric acts which resemble those of Israel in its war on Gaza would ruin its reputation and stance in the region.
“(Pakistani Prime Minister) Mr. Nawaz Sharif’s determination to avoid this war was strengthened when he saw the internal oppositions on one hand, and the innocence of the Yemeni people across the world on the other hand, and when he realized that Saudi Arabia has now emerged as a child-killer aggressor like Israel in the world,” Former Iranian Consul-General in Lahore Mohammad Taqi Jamshidi told FNA.
On March 26, 2015, Saudi Arabia began launching airstrikes on different areas across Yemen, its southern neighbor, in an attempt to reinstall the former Yemeni government, which was a close ally of Riyadh.
