Syrian Army Captures Another Key Region in War on Terrorists in Western Damascus
The Arabic-language al-Ahd news website reported that Al-Nusra terrorists deployed in the village of Kafr Hoor stopped talks between the region’s residents and the army to hand over militants’ positions to the government forces.
In the meantime, the army units targeted terrorists’ positions on the hills between Kafar Hoor and the town of Hineh after failure of reconciliation talks in the region, al-Ahd further added.
The army men took control over the Kafr Hoor and Tal (hill) Sawadi 2 and 3 Southwest of Kafr Hoor.
The army’s control over Kafr Hoor and its nearby hills has made the government forces capable of overlooking the strategic Bard’aya hill that is center of the terrorists on the slopes of Jabal (mount) al-Sheikh and especially Beit Jinn region and its farms and Moqir al-Mir
The Arabic-language al-Watan daily reported on Tuesday that the army men engaged in heavy fighting with terrorists near the village of Um Bateneh in Quneitra province and captured a command post of the militants of Jund al-Farouq Battalion at Damascus-Quneitra border.
In the meantime, the army’s missile units shelled heavily terrorists’ positions on the hills near the village of Kafr Hoor in Jabal (mount) al-Sheikh.
