Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has stressed the importance of long-term cooperation with Turkey on bolstering security in the region, especially in Syria.
Rouhani made the remarks during a meeting with Erdogan held on the sidelines of an Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) summit in Istanbul on Wednesday.
