Large Terrorist offensive in east Damascus ends in failure
Terrorists launched a surprise offensive in east Damascus, today, targeting the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) positions at the strategic vehicle management base.
Led by Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham and Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham, the terrorists attempted to inflitrate the Syrian Arab Army’s lines at the vehicle management base by using a car bomb.
However, the suicide bomber’s attack was foiled before he could reach the Syrian Arab Army’s front-lines at the vehicle management base.
According to a military source in Damascus, the Syrian Army’s 4th Division and Republican Guard forces killed several terrorists during the brief offensive, including several members of Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham.
While Faylaq Al-Rahman was not present during the offensive, their terrorist allies continue to carry out operations in east Damascus, despite the fact there is a ceasefire in many areas.
