‘Zionist Occupation Israel terrified by Islamic Awakening’

A senior member of Iran’s Majlis (parliament) says Zionist Israeli leaders are terrified at the continuation of the Islamic Awakening and moves in the region.

“The Zionists (Israelis) know that they are occupiers and have occupied the land of the oppressed Palestinian people. So, Palestinians will fight until the last drop of their blood to free their homeland,” said Deputy Chairman of the Majlis Judicial and Legal Committee Moussa Ghazanfar-Abadi on Sunday.

He stated that the Palestinian people have been oppressed by Zionist Israeli military forces for many years and emphasized that defense of the Palestinians is the defense of ideals of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, IRNA reported.

The Iranian lawmaker noted that the Islamic Awakening is the continuation of the Islam-seeking move by the Iranian nation, adding Iranians have always served as a set model for Muslim people.

Ghazanfar-Abadi described as “very wise” the initiative by founder of the Islamic Republic Imam Khomeini to designate the last Friday of the fasting month of Ramadan as the International Quds Day in a show of support for the world’s Muslims, in particular the Palestinians.

The move has strengthened unity in the Muslim world and attracted the attention of countries to the al-Quds (Jerusalem), he said.

Meanwhile, another member of the Majlis committee Moussa Qorbani said the International Quds Day conveys the message of unity and vigilance among Muslim countries.

He urged Muslims to support the Palestinians and express hatred against crimes of the Zionist Israeli regime and emphasized that Muslims should reinforce unity to not be damaged by enemies.

The Iranian legislator stated that the elimination of Zionist Israel will be definite through unity and vigilance among Muslims across the world.

Qorbani concluded that even the support of Western countries for Zionist Israel will not save the regime if Muslims tighten their unity.
