Palestinians Take to Streets and Have the Say: “All Palestine is Den of Lions”

Thousands of Palestinians took to streets across occupied Palestine late Thursday and early Friday in support of Lions’ Den resistance group in face of the brutal massacre which targeted it in Nablus earlier on Wednesday.

Large-scale marches were held in several towns across the West Bank, Gaza and occupied Al-Quds in response to a call for demonstrations by the Lion’s Den group, an extraordinary show of solidarity with the armed outfit.

Protesters were furious over horrible Israeli massacre in the city of Nablus, where 11 Palestinians were martyred and more than 100 others were injured on Wednesday. Two Lions’ Den commanders were martyred during Wednesday’s raid.

Marches were held after midnight in Nablus, Al-Khalil (Hebron), Ramallah, Tulkarm, and the Dheisheh refugee camp in Bethlehem, among other locations.

In Al-Khalil, the locals mourned the martyr Mohammad Jawabri, a police officer after he succumbed to wounds inflicted upon him by Zionist gunfire during overnight clashes.

In Nablus, hundreds of young men gathered in the street, vowed to protect the al-Aqsa Mosque, and many marches featured chants in support of the Lion’s Den group and its calls for revenge.

In East Al-Quds (Jerusalem), demonstrations were reported near the Shuafat refugee camp and Qalandia crossing, as well as the neighborhood of a-Tur, where videos showed police clashing with protesters.

Mass marches were also held throughout Gaza.

Israeli daily Israel Hayom reported on Friday that Israeli security bodies raised alert level over concerns that Palestinian resistance groups would carry out reprisal attacks against the occupation.

Islamic Jihad: Resistance to Persist

The Islamic Jihad resistance group on Friday morning claimed responsibility for the rocket launch from Gaza which took place early Thursday.

Abu Hamza, spokesman of Islamic Jihad’s Al-Quds Brigades, hailed the large-scale marches across Palestine, vowing that that the acts of resistance will persist.

Haniyeh Hails Marches

On Thursday, Lion’s Den urged Palestinians to take to the streets to show support for the group and “let the world know that the Lion’s Den and the resistance is ready for a swift reprisal,” the group said in a message on its Telegram channel.

Head of Hamas’ Politburo  Ismail Haniyeh hailed the crowds that filled all the squares in response to the Lions’ Den call.
