An elderly Palestinian woman has succumbed to critical injuries sustained after being shot by Israeli forces in the town of Faqqua, located northeast of Jenin in the northern West Bank, on Thursday morning.

According to local reports, 59-year-old Hanan Abu Salama was killed after being shot in the back by Israeli military forces while harvesting olives on her property near the separation wall in the town.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society has confirmed that its emergency response teams attended to a woman who sustained life-threatening injuries. Despite their efforts to stabilize her condition, she was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
In a developing situation, Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) troops, alongside Israeli settlers, reportedly confronted Palestinian farmers and international volunteers in the village of Kufr al-Labad, located to the east of Tulkarem. Similar incidents were also recorded in the towns of Qaryut, Jalud, and Qusra, situated south of Nablus, early Thursday. The confrontation resulted in the individuals being compelled to vacate the agricultural lands.
