IRGC Quds Force Commander made a visit to the Hamas office in Tehran
Brigadier General Esmaeil Qaani, Commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, paid a visit to the office of the Islamic Resistance Movement in Tehran. The purpose of his visit was to extend condolences following the passing of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar.

On Wednesday morning, General Qaani made a visit to the Hamas office in Tehran, sources report.
Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, paid a visit to the Hamas office to convey his condolences following the death of Sinwar in Gaza.
Yahya Sinwar was reportedly killed in clashes with Israeli military forces in Gaza on October 16, according to sources.
The demise of Sinwar occurred subsequent to a series of targeted actions by Israel, which resulted in the elimination of several other prominent leaders and commanders within the Hamas organization.
On August 6, he was appointed as the leader of the group, succeeding the former political chief Ismail Haniyeh, who was assassinated in Tehran on July 31.
