The IRGC Chief announced that the resistance front prepared to retaliate against any acts of aggression

Major General Hossein Salami issued a warning during a combat-security exercise in Tehran on Thursday, commending the resilience and determination of the Iranian people during challenging periods. He also lauded the sacrifices made by Muslims in the defense of their territories over the years.

The commander emphasized that global superpowers are unable to counter the determination of the Islamic Republic, stating that currently, a coalition of “malicious forces” is aligned against Islam and Muslims in an unprecedented historical conflict.

The commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed that the most advanced military forces from around the globe are rallying in support of the Zionist regime. This, he suggests, is part of an international strategy aimed at subjugating Muslim nations, seizing their territories, and erasing their religious identity.

A significant and historic conflict is unfolding, according to Salami. He stated, “Your capacity to endure against Muslims is untenable. Despite your actions in demolishing homes, destroying cities and villages, and burying oppressed Muslims under the rubble, be aware that even if you have killed 40,000 Palestinians in the besieged and vulnerable Gaza Strip, an additional 100,000 Palestinian children have been born.”

The top commander stated that resistance fighters are retaliating against the actions taken by the Israeli regime against their leaders and young members. He emphasized that their “glorious path” is unending and will persist.

In a statement reflecting heightened tensions, Salami declared, “We stand resolute in confrontation, committed to resisting any influence over the destiny of Muslims. Retaliation is imminent, and our adversaries should brace themselves for significant repercussions.”

Israel initiated military operations in Gaza on October 7, 2023, following a sudden assault by the Palestinian group Hamas, known as Operation Al-Aqsa Storm. This offensive was reportedly in retaliation for Israel’s longstanding campaign of violence and destruction against the Palestinian territories.

The ongoing military offensive in Gaza executed by the regime has resulted in the deaths of over 43,700 Palestinians, predominantly women and children. The number of injured individuals has surpassed 103,000, while thousands remain unaccounted for and are feared to be trapped beneath the debris.

In late September, Israel initiated a ground invasion and extensive aerial operations against Lebanon, following a year of intermittent cross-border hostilities, concurrent with the conflict in Gaza.

In the past year, Israeli strikes in Lebanon have resulted in the deaths of at least 3,287 individuals, with the majority of these casualties occurring in the last seven weeks. Additionally, 14,222 people have sustained injuries, most of whom are women and children.

Over the past year, the Axis of Resistance has fired hundreds of missiles targeting Israeli-occupied areas, demonstrating solidarity with Gaza and Lebanon. This surge in activity has intensified in recent months following the deaths of key resistance leaders, including the head of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.
