Israeli military actions in Lebanon persist without interruption as casualties rise to 3,583
Israeli forces have intensified their military actions in Lebanon, with a focus on northern Bekaa, where residential areas have come under significant attack.

The Israeli military actions in Lebanon have led to the deaths of at least 3,583 individuals, while 15,244 others have sustained injuries since October 2023, according to the Lebanese Health Ministry. On Wednesday alone, 25 fatalities and 121 injuries were recorded, the ministry confirmed on Thursday.
Al Mayadeen’s correspondent has reported that Israeli forces carried out five separate attacks on Thursday, resulting in the deaths of approximately 34 individuals and leaving 28 others injured. These figures are preliminary and subject to change.
Our correspondent in Lebanon’s Bekaa region has reported that six members of a single family have been killed in the town of Maqneh. Additionally, eight people lost their lives in Amshaka, at least 11 in Nabha, and three in the village of Masnaa al-Zahraa, located west of Baalbek.
In a series of coordinated raids, authorities today targeted multiple towns within the Baalbek-Hermel Governorate. Among the areas affected were Younin, Beit Shama, the outskirts of Nahle, Britel, Maqneh, al-Safri, the outskirts of Bouday, Flewa, Beit Mshik, Nabha, Amshaka, al-Taybeh, Hawsh al-Rafiqa, and Qalad al-Sabaa.
According to a report by the Palestine Today Agency, Israeli military operations in Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley have so far resulted in 1,182 aerial attacks. These operations have reportedly caused 839 fatalities and left 1,399 individuals injured.
According to Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in Bekaa, eastern Lebanon, approximately 40 individuals lost their lives and 30 others sustained injuries following 18 airstrikes on the northern Bekaa areas today.
The Israeli military launched a series of airstrikes on the southern suburb of Beirut, Lebanon’s capital, earlier today. Targets included Haret Hreik, Bir al-Abed, al-Sfeir, and al-Hadath, according to reports by Al Mayadeen’s correspondent.
A correspondent has verified that an Israeli airstrike struck a residence in southern Lebanon, between the towns of Ansariyeh and Adloun, resulting in one fatality.
Occupation forces targeted the southern Lebanese towns of Majdal Zoun and Western Zawtar, sources report. Concurrently, Israeli military conducted airstrikes on multiple locations within the Tyre district, including the city of Tyre, and executed a morning attack on the town of Khiam, escalating tensions in the region.
According to a report by Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA), Israeli military units launched an artillery assault on several targets within the Jezzine region.
In the Bekaa region, military forces conducted an airstrike in the vicinity of the town of Younin, resulting in multiple casualties and injuries.
In the midst of ongoing ceasefire negotiations, Israeli aircraft have resumed aerial assaults on several residential regions in the southern suburb of Beirut early Thursday. This resurgence of strikes comes after a period of relative calm in the neighborhood over recent days.
