Tragic explosion at an ammunition factory in northwest Turkey resulted in the deaths of 12 individuals

An explosion occurred at an explosives factory in northwest Turkey, resulting in the deaths of 12 individuals and injuring four others, as reported by Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya. Authorities have initiated an investigation into the incident.

CNN Turk aired images capturing a fireball and plumes of smoke emanating from the factory at the moment of the explosion. Later footage revealed the twisted metal structure of the building, which had been devastated by the blast.

An explosion took place at a factory in the village of Kavakli, located in Turkey’s Balikesir province. According to a report by CNN Turk, the local governor stated that there is no suspicion of sabotage involved in the incident.

Numerous firefighting teams were deployed to tackle the inferno as health and security personnel were dispatched to the location amidst an ongoing investigation, according to a statement from the government’s communications directorate.
