The Houthi movement claims that Yemen’s deployment of hypersonic missiles has caught adversaries off guard
In a significant development, Ansarullah leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi has hailed Yemen’s deployment of hypersonic missiles towards Israeli targets as a “noteworthy accomplishment,” asserting that the action took adversaries by surprise.

In a televised address on Thursday evening, Sayyed Al- Houthi announced that recent operation involving a supersonic missile in Yemen had successfully breached enemy defenses, marking a significant strategic milestone. The spokesperson emphasized that both their adversaries and the United States are cognizant of the operation’s impact.
The launch of hypersonic missiles has reportedly sparked significant disappointment within the political and security establishments of both Israel and the United States, according to sources.
On early Wednesday, a missile launched from Yemen set off air raid sirens throughout central Israeli-occupied territories, prompting millions of settlers to seek shelter for the second consecutive night.
According to Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the latest operation employed a Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile to target an Israeli military installation in Tel Aviv.
For the fourth time within a week, missile fire originating from Yemen triggered alarm sirens in Israeli settlements. On Saturday, a missile strike in Tel Aviv resulted in injuries to 16 individuals after Israel’s highly acclaimed air defense system was unable to intercept the projectile.
On Thursday, Houthi representatives claimed that Israeli forces expressed surprise and conveyed a sense of despair over the rapid pace of operations on the Yemeni front.
A spokesperson has asserted that despite the adversary’s claims of having the upper hand, they were caught off guard by the ongoing operations on the Yemeni front. The spokesperson further stated that Israel is “not capable of confronting us,” highlighting a confident stance in the face of opposition.
Eilat Port Ceases Operations
The Houthi group highlighted their strategic actions against vessels linked to Israel in the Red Sea, actions that have compelled maritime traffic to reroute around the Cape of Good Hope. This diversion significantly prolongs voyages by as much as three weeks.
Leading global shipping companies, including Denmark’s Maersk, Germany’s Hapag-Lloyd, France’s CMA CGM, and MSC, which is jointly based in Italy and Switzerland, have halted their operations through the Red Sea. This suspension has resulted in the effective closure of the port of Eilat, located at the southern extremity of what are referred to as the Israeli-occupied territories.
The adversary is aware that our ongoing naval operations are set to persist, poised to exert a notable influence on its economic circumstances.
A spokesperson for the Houthi movement stated that their opponents have conceded an inability to effectively confront Yemen, attributing this to Yemen’s foundation on faith, knowledge, and insight.
“The enemy’s media outlets and officials acknowledge their defeat, reporting that the port of Eilat is deserted and non-operational,” he stated.
The Houthi group has reported that Israel’s financial markets and currency experienced a significant decline following a missile strike on the southern suburb of Tel Aviv, Jaffa, last week.
**”Truman Strike Group Withdraws Following Yemeni Operation”**
In recent developments, the Truman Strike Group has reportedly withdrawn from its position subsequent to an operation in Yemen. This maneuver comes amid heightened tensions in the region, underscoring the dynamic military engagements currently unfolding. Further details on the operation and strategic implications are anticipated.
Houthi spokesperson reported on a significant Yemeni offensive targeting the USS Harry S. Truman aircraft carrier, which was allegedly in the process of preparing for a major military action against Yemen.
A spokesperson stated that a vessel approached Yemen with the potential to conduct aggressive activities against the nation. However, the U.S. was unable to execute its mission effectively, discharging only a few limited rounds. This incident tragically led to the loss of several Yemeni lives.
In an unprecedented move, the American vessel faced its fourth targeted attack, marking an important and audacious action not seen against aircraft carriers since the conclusion of World War II.
He further stated that following the assault on the warship, an American F-18 jet, recognized as one of the nation’s most crucial and costly fighter aircraft, was downed.
The Houthi movement has stated that the US military’s acknowledgment of mistakenly downing an F/A-18 Super Hornet jet over the Red Sea highlights the military’s challenges, underscoring what they describe as failure, incapacity, and significant disarray.
According to Western reports and analyses, the recent assault on the American vessel has significantly altered the landscape of naval warfare. The event demonstrates that such ships can no longer be considered effective deterrents, as evidenced by the retreat of the Truman strike group, which was forced to withdraw to a distance exceeding 1,500 kilometers from Yemen’s ports.
Israel Allegedly Aims to Control Water Resources in Syria
Houthi addressed concerns over the Israeli occupation of additional Syrian territories following the removal of President Bashar al-Assad, suggesting that the regime intends to assert control over the Arab nation’s water resources.
Jordanians will soon be required to make payments to the Israeli government for access to water, as Israel plans to assert control over the Jordan River, potentially utilizing these resources as leverage.
Israel is reportedly furthering its territorial occupation in Syria, having already taken control of nearly 95% of Al Quneitra province. The expansion efforts are said to be progressing towards the Dara’a region as well as areas south of Damascus, according to statements made by officials.
Houthi spokesperson highlighted recent incidents involving Israeli forces targeting Syrian villagers, including an incident in Maariyah, Dara’a. A Syrian protester was reportedly shot and injured amidst a demonstration expressing anger over the presence of Israeli military in the region.
According to recent reports, there are claims that Zionist forces are working to disarm the local population in certain areas to advance their objectives. In addition, there have been allegations of violence against the inhabitants of these villages.
**Ceasefire Violations Occur at Lebanese Border**
He further stated that Israel is attempting to convey a narrative of success in Lebanon, particularly after its unsuccessful efforts to dismantle Hezbollah, marked by numerous breaches of the ceasefire.
On Thursday, the Lebanese military reported that Israeli forces conducted an extensive incursion into parts of southern Lebanon, breaching the November 27 ceasefire agreement and abducting a Lebanese individual.
Reports indicate that since the implementation of the ceasefire designed to conclude nearly 70 days of Israeli military operations in Lebanon, there have been at least 300 instances of reported Israeli violations.
