Syria’s situation has been influenced by US-led plot
In remarks delivered during Friday Prayers, Tehran's interim leader asserted that the United States orchestrates global coups, conflicts, and plundering activities, while emphasizing that the recent events in Syria are part of a deeper conspiracy, contrary to their outward appearance.

Hujjat al-Islam Kazem Sediqi, speaking during Friday’s prayer sermons, addressed the multifaceted situation in Syria. He noted that various groups have seized parts of the country, each with distinct objectives, leaving Syria facing an uncertain future.
He emphasized that the United States is the orchestrator of coups, looting, and conflicts globally, asserting that the situation in Syria was part of a broader conspiracy, contrary to initial appearances.
He explained that Israel serves as an instrument for the execution of strategies devised by US think tanks.
Sediqi stated that the collapse of Bashar Assad’s government was attributed to the cooperation between a neighboring country and the United States.
He stated that the deployment of Iranian advisors in Syria was previously validated through multiple justifications.
He highlighted that during the Iran-Iraq conflict, Syria assisted Iran in obstructing the Iraqi oil pipeline, a move that necessitates compensation from Iran. Additionally, he emphasized Iran’s religious ties to the Shia Imams and the significance of the shrines of Hazrat Zainab (pbuh) and Hazrat Ruqayyah (pbuh) located in Syria.
A senior cleric stated that while Iran is providing assistance to Hezbollah, its involvement does not extend to deploying troops in Syria. Despite Hezbollah’s active engagement on the ground amid numerous challenges, the official emphasized that Iran’s military presence was not deemed necessary for recent developments in Syria.
