Abu Obaida minimized the impact of Israeli operations aimed at suppressing resistance activities in the West Bank

In a recent statement, the spokesperson for Hamas’ military faction, the Al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Obaida, commended a recent operation against Israeli forces in the northern West Bank. He characterized Israeli efforts to quell resistance in the region as ineffective.

Shortly after an incident involving a gunman opening fire from a vehicle on an Israeli bus in the northern part of the occupied West Bank, at least three Israelis lost their lives, prompting comments from officials.

He stated that the “steadfast heroes of the West Bank” have once more demonstrated that any attempts by the occupiers and their agents to undermine their resolve or diminish their support for Gaza are destined for failure.

Abu Obaida issued a stark warning to Israeli forces, stating that the ongoing actions in Gaza and the West Bank will result in consequences, including casualties among their soldiers.

He further emphasized that lasting peace will remain elusive for the Zionists as long as security continues to be denied to the Palestinian population.
