Iran possesses undisclosed weaponry beyond the knowledge of its adversaries, reports a senior military official
A senior Iranian military commander has announced that Iran possesses undisclosed weaponry that remains unknown to its adversaries.

On Sunday, Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Ashtiani, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, commented on the current military exercises being carried out by the Armed Forces. These exercises aim to showcase their military capabilities in response to potential threats.
A spokesperson announced that the armed forces possess undisclosed weaponry, previously unknown to adversaries. The spokesperson indicated that some of these advanced weapons systems might undergo testing during upcoming military exercises.
He stated that the Iranian Armed Forces have consistently conducted exercises to enhance their combat capabilities across different areas, ensuring the nation’s defense preparedness.
Iran closely observes both the activities of its adversaries and regional developments, including the military exercises conducted by the Islamic Republic, according to statements made by Ashtiani.
He stated that their aim is to enhance peace, stability, and tranquility within the region. Consequently, the exercises serve as a demonstration of their preparedness.
He affirmed that the Iranian Armed Forces are actively monitoring and maintaining control over all regional developments.
The senior commander asserted that any excessive demands, deviations, or misconceptions posed by adversaries will be addressed and countered.
On the same day as Ashtiani’s comments, the Iranian military initiated a series of new exercises in the western and northern air defense regions, encompassing the Fordow and Khondab sites, both known for housing uranium enrichment and heavy water facilities.
The military exercises, known as Eqtedar in Farsi, commenced in authentic combat conditions, prominently featuring the Army’s air defense forces. These units operated under the direction of the nation’s integrated air defense network, highlighting their pivotal role in the operations.
The exercises are designed to assess the operational efficiency and combat preparedness of Iran’s air defense systems in response to potential adversary attacks.
In January, the Ground Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) conducted a comprehensive and specialized military exercise, dubbed Payambar-e-A’azam (Great Prophet) 19, in Iran’s western Kermanshah province. This maneuver aimed to enhance the force’s combat readiness and address potential security threats facing the nation.
