Zionist regime conducts airstrikes on Lebanon, marking a new breach of the ceasefire with Hezbollah
The zionist military has launched airstrikes on Lebanon, marking a further breach of a ceasefire agreement with the Hezbollah resistance group.

According to a report by the al-Mayadeen news channel late Sunday, airstrikes have been conducted on the outskirts of Houmine al-Fawqa and Deir al-Zahrani in the Nabatieh governorate, southern Lebanon.
According to the report, Israeli strikes have also extended to the town of Janta, located in Lebanon’s eastern Bekaa governorate.
In a recent statement, the military of the occupying forces announced it had conducted strikes on Hezbollah positions. The targets reportedly included a rocket launcher, a military installation of unspecified nature, and strategic routes near the Syrian-Lebanese border.
Earlier today, Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA) reported that Israeli forces conducted aerial strikes targeting the towns of Kfar Kila and Aita al-Shaab in the Nabatieh governorate.
An Israeli drone strike was reported on the outskirts of Jabal al-Botm, located within Lebanon’s South governorate.
According to reports from al-Mayadeen, occupation forces have conducted incursions into several Lebanese towns, including Maroun al-Ras, al-Majdiyeh, Wadi Khansa, and the Mari Plain.
Hezbollah has initiated a support front for Palestinians in the Gaza Strip following Israel’s military offensive in the region, which began on October 7, 2023. In response to the escalated conflict, Hezbollah has launched multiple attacks on targets within the occupied territories.
On November 27, 2024, Israel agreed to a ceasefire with Hezbollah following significant battlefield casualties and challenges in meeting its objectives, despite a toll of over 4,000 fatalities in Lebanon.
The agreement, set to conclude on January 26, required Israel to withdraw its forces from the occupied territories within a 60-day period, subsequently transferring control to the Lebanese military and United Nations peacekeeping forces.
According to reports, Israeli authorities have indicated that their forces will remain in southern Lebanon beyond the agreed deadline for withdrawal.
