Iran condemns new acts of barbarism by ‘israel’ in Gaza and the West Bank

Iran has issued a strong condemnation of the latest acts of aggression by Israeli military forces and settlers in the occupied West Bank and the Gaza Strip.

On Wednesday, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei strongly criticized the regime for its actions against the Palestinian people, as talks aimed at establishing a ceasefire with the resistance group, Hamas, are currently in progress.

An Iranian official has urged Palestinian factions to unite against what he described as the settler-colonialist activities of Israel.

According to Baghaei, Israel has not succeeded in its objective to dismantle Palestinian resistance efforts since October 2023.

In the wake of the resistance’s gains, Israel aims to assert a narrative of victory by targeting civilians, including women and children, and by dismantling healthcare infrastructures, mosques, and residential areas.

A spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry has strongly condemned the regime’s recent drone strike targeting a refugee camp in Jenin, located in the West Bank.

According to reports, an Israeli assault on a refugee camp has resulted in the deaths of at least six individuals.

The Palestinian news outlet Wafa reported that an Israeli drone launched three missiles targeting a group of individuals near a traffic roundabout within the camp on Tuesday evening.

Baghaei denounced the killing of media personnel and urged the United Nations Security Council to fulfill its responsibilities in safeguarding international peace and security.

Reports indicate that Israel has recently been involved in an incident resulting in the death of the 205th Palestinian journalist in Gaza since October 2023.

Baghaei called on the United Nations Security Council to reassess the situation in Palestine in their upcoming emergency meeting and to implement decisive measures in response.
