Qalibaf: Imam Khomeini was the pioneering Muslim intellectual to issue a warning regarding the Zionist regime

Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf has stated that Imam Khomeini, the late founder of the Islamic Republic, was a pioneering Muslim intellectual who first highlighted the threats associated with the Zionist regime.

During a ceremony at the holy shrine of Imam Khomeini, marking the 46th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution’s victory, a speaker highlighted that Imam Khomeini (RA) was one of the first Muslim intellectuals to warn of the dangers presented by the Zionist regime.

Qalibaf highlighted that a significant catalyst for Imam Khomeini’s revolt against the Pahlavi regime in Iran was the Shah’s close relations with Zionist entities.

He conveyed assurance in Khomeini’s commitment to the eventual liberation of al-Quds by Muslims and the oppressed, affirming his belief in the fulfillment of this promise.

He asserted that Zionism, which he characterized as the foundation of the corrupt system of global arrogance, has seen its reputation further tarnished on the international stage and will persist in failing to achieve its goals in Gaza and Lebanon.

On Sunday, members of Iran’s Parliament, including Qalibaf, visited the shrine of Imam Khomeini to renew their dedication to his principles and commemorate the Ten-Day Dawn period, observed from February 1 to 11.
