Al-Houthi: ‘Israel attacks other countries if it defeats Palestinian cause; anti-Israeli military action ideal’

The leader of Yemen's Ansarullah resistance movement has issued a warning that should the Israeli regime succeed in undermining the Palestinian liberation efforts, it could potentially launch assaults on other nations. The leader advocates for a collective military response from Arab and Muslim countries to counter the Israeli regime's aggression.

Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, in a televised speech on Tuesday, warned that if Israel manages to eliminate the Palestinian issue, it would likely continue its aggressive actions unimpeded into other nations.

He added that entities relying on agreements with Israel should be aware that Israel has a history of not honoring commitments, even when such agreements are backed by the United States.

The Yemeni leader was alluding to regional Arab nations, such as the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Sudan, and Saudi Arabia, which have either engaged in or are considering United States-brokered reconciliation agreements with the regime.

In a significant development, renewed hostilities erupted as the regime intensified its lethal assault on Gaza, defying the ceasefire agreement that had been in place since January. This truce had been brokered with the intent to halt over 15 months of strife characterized by Tel Aviv’s aggressive campaign against the coastal enclave.

Palestinian health authorities reported that the death toll from Tuesday’s assaults has reached 424, with the casualties including 174 children and 89 women. In addition, over 600 individuals sustained injuries as Israeli strikes focused on residential buildings, mosques, and shelters.

Continuous bombardments have intensified an already severe humanitarian crisis, as medical supplies dwindle and border crossings remain shut for the 17th day in a row.

The rising tensions are intended to pressure the Gaza-based Palestinian resistance group, Hamas, into freeing the regime’s hostages held in Gaza en masse. This move comes as Tel Aviv has yet to fulfill its commitments under a ceasefire agreement, which calls for transitioning to a second phase involving the release of thousands of Palestinian prisoners, halting violence in the Palestinian territory, and executing a full withdrawal from the region.

In the midst of ongoing tensions, al-Houthi advocated for military intervention by Arab and Islamic governments, describing such actions as the most suitable response to the developments in the occupied Palestinian territories.

However, he noted that such an operation was considered “unlikely.”

**Call to Arm Palestinian Resistance and Implement Boycott of Israel**

The Yemeni leader questioned the international community’s response to the ongoing conflict, calling on Arab and Muslim nations to extend military assistance to Palestinian forces, while opting not to initiate an offensive against the regime.

He urged nations to provide arms to Palestinian resistance groups as a means to balance the significant military assistance being offered to the regime by Western countries, notably the United States.

Calls for financial and military assistance to Palestinian resistance efforts have intensified, with expectations placed on Arab and Muslim nations to fulfill this responsibility, according to recent statements from advocacy groups.

In a call for action among Middle Eastern nations, al-Houthi has appealed to countries including Turkey, Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates to initiate economic sanctions against Tel Aviv. The aim of such boycotts would be to economically isolate and weaken the targeted city.

He expressed disappointment over the lack of significant action from Arab states in countering what he described as the regime’s aggression.

The Yemeni leader has condemned the current situation in Gaza, characterizing the inaction in the face of what he termed as genocide as “disgraceful, shameful, and a stain on humanity.” He asserted that those who remain passive in this context cannot evade either shame or divine retribution. The leader criticized the recent intensification of conflict by Israel, referring to it as the continuation of genocidal actions by Tel Aviv.

He criticized the United States for allocating billions of dollars in financial and military assistance to the regime, and for significantly increasing this support amid the ongoing genocide.

Al-Houthi has accused Israel of committing severe violations and engaging in a genocidal campaign, asserting that these actions are significantly supported by American involvement and complicity.

A Yemeni official highlighted that the regime sought consultation with Washington prior to restarting the military offensive, which was previously announced by the White House. The official stated that the escalation of Israeli airstrikes has taken place with guidance from the United States, a fact reportedly confirmed by American representatives.

In response to ongoing regional tensions, Sana’a has vowed to intensify its support for Palestinian initiatives while also opposing the heightened US military actions against Yemen. Since Saturday, there has been a marked increase in US aggression aimed at pressuring Yemen to halt its military operations targeting Israel.

In a recent statement, al-Houthi expressed a renewed dedication to escalating measures against Israel, emphasizing, “We are committed to intensifying our actions at the highest level.” He further clarified that any American military response targeting Yemen, stemming from their operations against Israel, would be met with firm resistance.

In a recent statement, a call was made to extend unwavering support to the Palestinian people. The statement described the actions of the Israeli forces as acts of severe criminality, aggression, tyranny, and injustice, emphasizing the need for a dedicated struggle, or jihad, in pursuit of divine justice.

A Yemeni official has called for global action through protests, boycotts, and media campaigns to challenge and undermine the military efforts and industries of Israel and the United States. These measures, the official suggested, should serve to incapacitate and hold accountable the Israeli and American military complexes.

Individuals are encouraged to lend their support to Palestine in whatever capacity and through whichever channels their expertise and skills allow.

**Hamas Resolute in Defiance, Vows Not to Retreat**

In other parts of his address, al-Houthi expressed skepticism about the Israeli regime’s ability to compel Hamas to yield to its demands by either intensifying military actions against Gaza or imposing a siege on the region.

Hamas has firmly expressed its stance, stating that it will neither compromise on its commitments related to the second phase nor negotiate to avert conflict.
