Yemeni forces declare a successful hypersonic missile attack targeting an Israeli airbase

In a significant development, the Yemeni Armed Forces declared the successful launch of a hypersonic ballistic missile, dubbed "Palestine-2," targeting Israel's Nevatim Airbase. This base is reportedly involved in operations against Gaza.

The Yemeni Armed Forces released a statement on Tuesday declaring that their recent operation was carried out in support of the Palestinian people. The action was a direct response to what they described as “criminal massacres” allegedly committed by “the Zionist enemy” in the Gaza region.

Yahya Saree, the spokesperson for the Yemeni forces, announced that the operation had successfully met its intended goals.

Earlier today, the Israeli government reported that it successfully intercepted a missile launched from Yemen. This action came after air raid sirens were activated in various regions across the southern areas of what Israel occupies.

A statement from Yemeni authorities has cautioned that Yemen is prepared to broaden its range of targets within the territories of occupied Palestine in the forthcoming hours and days, should the Israeli military operations in Gaza persist.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have declared that Yemen will not remain passive in the face of what they describe as massacres against Palestinians in Gaza.

They vowed to employ all available resources to defend and support those facing oppression in Palestine.

Yemen’s leadership, along with its citizens and military, has expressed that they will not stand idly by as they observe the ongoing violence and casualties impacting their brethren in Gaza.

A statement from the Yemeni Armed Forces emphasized their commitment to deploying every available resource in defense of Palestinians, pledging continued support until hostilities against Gaza come to an end, with the invocation of divine assistance.

The statement further underscored Yemen’s ongoing resistance to United States policies in the region, alongside its determination to interfere with Israeli maritime operations until the blockade on Gaza is lifted and humanitarian assistance is permitted access to the embattled area.

This attack signifies Yemen’s inaugural direct assault on the territories occupied by Israel since the implementation of the Gaza ceasefire agreement in January.

The ceasefire had significantly curtailed hostilities in Gaza, but Tuesday’s actions by US-supported Israeli forces indicated a renewed escalation of conflict. These assaults resulted in the deaths of over 400 residents and inflicted injuries on hundreds more, signaling a concerning intensification of violence in the region.

Yemen had earlier set a four-day deadline for Israel to remove its comprehensive blockade of Gaza, stating that the blockade contravened the ceasefire agreement. Yemen warned of potential retaliatory measures should the ultimatum not be met.

In response to actions by Israel, Yemen has declared its intention to resume naval operations targeting ships with links to Israel in the region.

In recent days, the United States and the United Kingdom have conducted a series of significant military operations in Yemen, aligning their actions with support for Israeli interests.

Yemeni forces have initiated multiple operations directed at American naval vessels in the Red Sea, marking a significant escalation in regional tensions.

During the conflict in Gaza, Yemen has reportedly initiated numerous drone and missile attacks targeting ships in transit and areas within Israeli territory, as a gesture of support for the Palestinian cause.
