Leader of Islamic Ummah Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei to lead Eid al-Fitr prayers in Tehran

Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, is set to preside over the Eid al-Fitr prayers, concluding the holy month of Ramadan.

In an official statement released on Wednesday, a spokesman for the Policy Council of Friday Imams confirmed that Ayatollah Khamenei is set to lead prayers at the Grand Mosalla Mosque in Tehran. The event is expected to see a vibrant turnout from diverse sections of the community.

The announcement of Eid al-Fitr follows the confirmed sighting of the crescent moon for the month of Shawwal, marking the end of Ramadan. Consequently, Eid prayers are scheduled to commence at 8:00 AM, with the prayer hall set to open its doors to worshipers from 4:00 AM onwards, according to an official statement.

Following the prayers, the Leader is scheduled to deliver his Eid sermons.

The statement indicates that information regarding the program will be incrementally released via mass media outlets.

Muslims around the globe are observing Eid al-Fitr, a significant religious festival that signifies the conclusion of Ramadan, a month characterized by fasting from dawn until sunset.
