Gen. Qaani Declares US, Israel Ineffective Against Iran and Resistance Movement
The leader of Iran's Quds Force has stated that despite their attempts to project strength, the United States and Israel are effectively "powerless in practice" when confronting Iran and resistance groups.

Brigadier General Esmail Qa’ani stated on Thursday that their adversaries are unable to grasp how their missiles consistently strike their intended targets, highlighting this precision as a testament to their strength.
In the previous year, Iran launched missile salvoes targeting military and intelligence facilities within the Israeli-occupied territories during the months of April and October. Iranian officials have emphasized that the actions represented only a small portion of the nation’s available military capabilities.
Western military experts have issued warnings that future assaults may become more intricate and utilize an even larger arsenal of missiles. Meanwhile, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) recently revealed a new underground missile “megacity.”
Following a threat from Trump to bomb Iran unless it complies with American demands, the Islamic Republic’s Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Muhammad Bagheri, stated that Iran’s enhancement of its defensive capabilities is progressing at a rate much swifter than that of its adversaries’ recovery.
On Thursday, General Qa’ani underscored the critical significance of achieving self-sufficiency and boosting domestic production.
He extended commendations to the resistance groups in the region, highlighting their ability to stand firm against adversaries equipped with advanced weaponry, despite having minimal resources.
In referencing situations in Lebanon and Yemen, he remarked that the resistance movements have inflicted significant damage on their adversaries despite limited resources.
Qa’ani emphasized the distinctive attributes of the Resistance Front, stating, “The core of resistance is such that any opposition only serves to fortify its strength.”
A statement highlighted the remarkable advancement of missile technology among Yemeni youth, indicating that within a year, their missile range capability has extended by 600 to 700 kilometers, effectively enhancing their reach against targeted regions.
General Qa’ani remarked that the advancement achieved is unparalleled globally, emphasizing that the resources currently at the disposal of the Resistance Front stem from internal endeavors and innovations.
Ahmed Nagi, a senior analyst on Yemen at the International Crisis Group, has expressed the view that the United States is misguided in its belief that airstrikes can force Yemenis into submission.
According to a report by CNN, he stated that the prolonged years of conflict have molded their reasoning, leading them to perceive resilience as a testament to strength, urging them to demonstrate that they are not easily discouraged.
The broadcaster reported that the forces may indeed be welcoming the US strikes, suggesting that these actions align directly with their strategic desires. Farea al-Muslimi, a Yemeni research fellow at Chatham House, conveyed to CNN that their operations represent a “direct answer to their prayers” for engaging in a conflict with the United States.
Since mid-March, Yemeni forces have reportedly fired approximately twelve ballistic missiles towards Israel. Additionally, there have been waves of drone and missile assaults targeting US naval vessels. These actions are declared to be in support of the Palestinian population, who are experiencing ongoing violence and severe conditions in both Gaza and the West Bank.
In a pointed message to adversaries, General Qa’ani declared that, “Your crimes will never be forgotten.”
The act of targeting women and children, along with the destruction of the homes of unarmed civilians, is not indicative of skill or strength; rather, it reflects a profound weakness and sense of helplessness.
Qa’ani stated that the besieged Gaza Strip remains resilient despite enduring a prolonged conflict for 18 months, emphasizing that such steadfast resistance “demonstrates the unwavering determination of its residents.”
Iran’s naval chief has asserted that the nation’s defense capabilities have reached unprecedented levels of strength.
On Thursday, Rear Admiral Shahram Irani, the head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Navy, emphasized that the nation’s maritime power and defense capabilities have reached unprecedented strength.
During a gathering in Bandar Abbas with families of the personnel from the 86th Naval Group, which completed a global journey spanning 236 days from September 2022 to May 2023, it was stated, “Our adversaries now regard the Navy’s armed forces as a superpower.”
Irani credited the mission’s success to the expertise of the personnel and the unwavering patience and endurance demonstrated by the families of fellow comrades. Irani stressed that the support of these families is vital for maintaining high morale among personnel engaged in prolonged international missions.
Irani stated that the international community considers Iran’s Navy to be equivalent to the naval forces of a major global power.
He stated that the contributions of his fellow countrymen have garnered widespread recognition both nationally and internationally, instilling honor and pride in Iran.
