Gaza Media Office: ‘israel’ Deliberately Targeting Women and Children in ‘Systematic Genocide’
The Gaza media office has alleged that Israeli forces are intentionally targeting civilians in Gaza, claiming this action is part of an ongoing systematic policy aimed at genocide.

In a statement issued on Monday, the office reported that more than 65% of Palestinians killed by the Israeli regime are children, women, and the elderly.
The statement reported that the regime has been responsible for the deaths of over 18,000 children and more than 12,400 Palestinian women. Additionally, it noted that over 2,180 Palestinian families have been entirely wiped out, with the father, mother, and all family members perishing.
The statement further underscored the targeting of medical personnel, reporting that more than 1,400 doctors and healthcare workers have been killed. This represents a catastrophic loss that has severely weakened the healthcare infrastructure.
The statement highlights the precarious circumstances faced by those in service to humanity, with over 113 members of Civil Defense reportedly losing their lives while engaging in humanitarian endeavors. Furthermore, an alarming toll on press freedom is evident as 212 journalists have been killed, suggesting a systematic attempt to stifle truth and obscure violations. In addition, the escalating violence has taken the lives of over 750 humanitarian aid workers, individuals dedicated to providing relief and ensuring safety amidst perilous conditions.
The Israeli military actions have reportedly led to the deaths of over 13,000 students and more than 800 educators, including teachers and staff, as well as over 150 scholars, academics, university professors, and researchers. Additionally, thousands of civil sector employees and essential service workers in Gaza have also been killed, according to the report.
The Health Ministry in Gaza has reported that a minimum of 52,243 Palestinians have lost their lives, while an additional 117,600 individuals have been injured since the commencement of Israel’s ongoing military operations in Gaza, a conflict that has persisted for the past 18 months.
Israel initiated a military offensive against Gaza on October 7, 2023. However, the campaign did not accomplish its stated objectives.
The regime ultimately acquiesced to Hamas’ enduring ceasefire conditions on January 19. Nevertheless, on March 18, Israel breached the agreement, resuming its indiscriminate bombardment of the besieged region.
