Yemen Issues Warning on ‘israeli’ Airport Safety Amid Hypersonic Missile Targeting of Ben Gurion

Yemen's Ansarullah resistance movement has announced that all airports within Israeli-occupied territories are now deemed unsafe zones. The group has intensified its retaliatory missile and drone attacks on Ben Gurion Airport, expressing solidarity with Palestinians facing severe conflict in Gaza.

Nasr al-Din Amer, Vice President of Ansarullah’s Media Authority, declared on Sunday that “all airports in occupied Palestine are unsafe.” He urged all airlines to halt their flights to Palestinian airports to ensure the safety of their passengers.

Amer announced plans to implement a “no-fly zone” over Israeli airports, emphasizing that retaliatory attacks on the occupied territories would continue until the regime halts its aggression against Gaza.

Ansarullah officials have declared their intent to intensify operations until the conflict ceases and the blockade on Gaza is lifted. Furthermore, they announced plans to enforce a no-fly zone over all airports within the territories they describe as occupied Palestine, as a countermeasure to the escalating situation in Gaza.

The warning was issued as Yemen’s Armed Forces launched two ballistic missiles targeting the occupied territories, specifically Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv. This move suggests a potential escalation in retaliatory operations.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have claimed responsibility for a significant military operation targeting Lod Airport, also known as Ben Gurion Airport, located in the occupied area of Yaffa. According to a statement by Yemeni military spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the operation involved the use of two ballistic missiles—a hypersonic Palestine 2 missile and a ‘Zulfiqar’ missile.

The operation successfully reached its objective, reportedly causing millions of individuals to seek shelter and temporarily halting air traffic at the airport for approximately an hour.

Saree emphasized that the operation against Israel was conducted in solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people and in opposition to what he described as genocide by the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip. He urged the Muslim world to unite in resistance against the entity he labeled as illegal.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have reiterated their appeal to the Muslim community, questioning whether the global Muslim population of two billion has been unable to rescue two million Muslims facing the dangers of genocide and famine.

The ongoing failures and lack of capability are likely to embolden adversaries to continue their assaults on various nations and their populations.

A spokesperson for the Yemeni military declared that the retaliatory operations would persist “until the offensive actions against Gaza cease and the blockade is lifted.”

The military forces of Israel reported the interception of one of two ballistic missiles that had been launched from Yemen. In response to the incident, Channel 12 has reported that Ben Gurion Airport temporarily halted all flight operations, affecting both landings and takeoffs.

On Saturday morning, the Yemeni Armed Forces executed a military operation, deploying a Yaffa drone to target a significant Israeli airport.

The Yemeni military has intensified its efforts in response to what it describes as Israel’s prolonged aggression against Gaza, calling on the global community to address the persistent humanitarian crisis in the besieged region.

The ongoing conflict in Gaza, which began in October 2023, has led to a reported death toll of at least 53,272 Palestinians, while more than 120,673 individuals have sustained injuries.

Thousands of individuals are reportedly trapped beneath debris, with emergency and civil defense teams unable to reach them due to ongoing Israeli military operations.
