Gaza Hospitals Overwhelmed as Fatalities Surge Past 54,000

In the last 24 hours, medical facilities in the Gaza Strip have reported receiving the bodies of at least 79 individuals, described as martyrs, alongside 163 people experiencing various injuries as a result of Israeli strikes.

Since the resumption of military operations by Israeli forces in Gaza on March 18, 2025, over 3,901 individuals have lost their lives and approximately 11,088 others have sustained injuries, as reported by Gaza’s health ministry on Tuesday.

The recent fatalities have increased the death toll from the ongoing conflict in Gaza, which commenced on October 7, 2023, to over 54,056. The number of injured individuals has also risen to approximately 123,129.

Efforts are currently underway to locate and recover the bodies of additional individuals who are still missing in various regions of the Gaza Strip.
