Iran Armed Forces Assert Readiness to Counter Any Level of Strategic Miscalculations by Enemies

In a statement released on Wednesday, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran commemorated the 36th anniversary of the passing of the late founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Imam Khomeini.

“The statement praised the unmatched influence, remarkable leadership, and historic contributions of Imam Khomeini. As a premier religious reformer and thinker of the century, he established a theocratic system rooted in religious democracy and Islamic principles. This system challenged the bipolar global order and questioned the perceived dominance of Western and Eastern powers, introducing the Islamic Revolution as a significant new force on the international platform.”

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Iran emphasized that the resilient and courageous people of Iran will inevitably surmount all challenges, including difficulties, pressures, and sanctions, as they move towards achieving honor under the leadership of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

The statement emphasized a strong stance against adversaries, vowing that they will regret their actions due to unwavering resistance against threats, conspiracies, and malevolent activities of the global hegemonic system. It highlighted a commitment to progress and increasing power across various sectors.

In a recent statement, Iran’s Armed Forces have asserted their readiness to counter any threat or strategic misjudgment posed by adversaries. Describing themselves as potent, capable, and courageous, the forces emphasized their exemplary state of preparedness and power. They declared their commitment to confront challengers at any given time and level of threat, relying on divine support and the sagacious leadership of their Commander-in-Chief.

Reports indicate that the Forces remain a cornerstone for the resilient Iranian nation, vigilantly overseeing the activities and maneuvers of adversaries of the Islamic Revolution.

Iran and the United States have engaged in five rounds of discussions since April 12 regarding the Islamic Republic’s peaceful nuclear program. These talks have persisted despite Washington’s aggressive rhetoric, repeated sanctions, and military threats.

Tel Aviv has repeatedly expressed its willingness to target Iran’s nuclear infrastructure should the current negotiations between Tehran and Washington, facilitated by the Sultanate of Oman, reach an impasse.

In the previous year, the Islamic Republic initiated a missile campaign, deploying hundreds of projectiles towards territories occupied by Israel. This offensive, known as Operation True Promise I and II, was conducted in response to actions by the regime deemed illegal, specifically an attack on the Islamic Republic’s embassy in Syria, and the assassinations of prominent figures within the Palestinian and Lebanese resistance, alongside a high-ranking commander from the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC).
