Hezbollah Delegation Engages in Constructive Dialogue with PM Salam: Focus on Reconstruction and Reform Acts

A delegation from the "Loyalty to Resistance" parliamentary bloc, headed by Hajj Mohammad Raad, engaged in discussions today.

A delegation from the “Loyalty to Resistance” parliamentary bloc, headed by Hajj Mohammad Raad, held discussions with Prime Minister Nawaf Salam at the Grand Serail in Beirut on Wednesday to assess recent developments following a phase of significant tensions between the parties.

Following the meeting, MP Raad informed reporters that the discussions had a positive outcome, noting that significant contentious issues were addressed and resolved during the 45-minute session.

MP Raad emphasized that the paramount objectives for the different Lebanese factions should include the full Israeli withdrawal from South Lebanon, a comprehensive cessation of Zionist attacks and breaches, the liberation of Lebanese captives detained by the adversary, and the advancement of reconstruction efforts.

In this context, MP Raad emphasized reaching an agreement with the Prime Minister as an initial step toward reconstruction, expressing hope that it will lead to further accomplishments.

A Hezbollah legislator has stated that Lebanon has fulfilled its obligations regarding the ceasefire agreement. The lawmaker further accused Israel of persisting with its assaults and targeted killings against southern Lebanese inhabitants in their communities.

In discussions about resistance weaponry, MP Raad noted that the matter is being deliberated with President Joseph Aoun. He emphasized that safeguarding the nation remains the paramount concern in this context.

Following provocative remarks from Prime Minister Salam, Head of the Loyalty to Resistance bloc, MP Raad, opted to refrain from a direct response, choosing instead to emphasize the “remaining amiability” in managing interactions with the premier.
