According to a report by the IRNA news agency, Major General Bagheri, the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, is situated in the war room and remains unharmed despite rumors connected to the Israeli attacks.
Initial reports indicated that the attacks commenced at approximately 3:00 am local time on Friday in Tehran, the capital, and were succeeded by a succession of explosions in various provinces nationwide.
