Sayyed Abdul Malik Badreddine Al-Houthi, leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah Movement, remarked that the Israeli offensive targeting the Islamic Republic of Iran is part of a larger Western initiative. This effort perceives Iran as an independent entity that advocates for the Palestinian cause.
In a televised address marking the Day of Wilaya, Sayyed Houthi stated that the Israeli adversary, supported by Western nations, perceives the Islamic Republic of Iran as a country fostering a civilizational resurgence and establishing itself as an Islamic power.
“The Israeli, American, and British governments, alongside their allies, are perceived as opposing any independent Muslim nation that does not align with their interests. Israel is accused of committing egregious acts without any legitimate justification for its aggressive stance towards the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
He described the narratives and justifications presented by Israel as completely unfounded, emphasizing the unified stance of Arab and Islamic nations in denouncing the Israeli actions against Iran, which he sees as a positive and promising development.
In his statement, Sayyed Houthi emphasized that Israel’s actions against the Islamic Republic of Iran involve repeated violations of Arab airspace. He called for the Ummah to re-establish a deterrence strategy against these measures, rather than allowing the continuation of unchecked aggression.
The American, British, French, and broader Western communities are focused on managing the Iranian reaction. Should the West not succeed in restraining Iran through diplomatic pressure and alternative strategies, the next course of action may involve aligning with adversaries to address Iran’s counteractions.
Sayyed Houthi expressed Yemen’s alignment with the Iranian response, pledging full support and resources in this shared position. He extended condolences to Iran’s leadership and citizens, while also offering congratulations on the martyrdom of various officials, experts, and civilians.
Sayyed Houthi emphasized that it is imperative for the Ummah to back any Islamic nation that stands against the Israeli adversary, highlighting it as both a fundamental duty and a vital interest.
“We maintain our steadfast support for Gaza and the Palestinian people, affirming our ongoing conflict with Israel as part of our commitment to our strategic objectives.”
Iranian Armed Forces reportedly downed Israeli drones on Saturday amid ongoing hostilities initiated by Israel, marking the second consecutive day of military confrontations with Iran.
