Iran Launches Intense Retaliatory Strikes on Occupied Territories, Halts Assault

Iran’s military launched nearly a dozen missiles at various targets within the occupied territories, executing retaliatory strikes in response to overnight Israeli hostilities. This action marks a halt in aggression shortly after the initial Israeli attack against Iran.

According to reports from Israeli media, a total of 11 missiles were launched from Iran, delivered in five separate salvos on Tuesday morning.

At least eight individuals lost their lives and 30 others sustained injuries in Iran’s assault on Beersheba.

Air raid sirens were activated in Haifa and regions in the northern territories under occupation.

Simultaneously, blasts were reported in Tel Aviv and in the central areas of the occupied territories.

On Tuesday, a ceasefire was officially enacted. Previously, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi indicated there was no existing truce agreement with Tel Aviv. However, he stated that Tehran would cease retaliatory actions if the Israeli regime discontinued its unlawful assaults on the Iranian populace.

In a statement following Iran’s missile strikes on the occupied territories earlier today, the Israeli Finance Minister expressed appreciation to the nation’s military for their decisive actions against the regime. The minister remarked that the morning’s developments will certainly carry a bitter taste.

On June 13, Israeli forces initiated a targeted operation against Iran, resulting in the deaths of military commanders, nuclear scientists, and several civilians.

On June 22, the United States, in coordination with Israel, launched airstrikes targeting three Iranian nuclear facilities, marking a significant breach of the United Nations Charter, international law, and the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).

The Iranian military has vowed to unleash severe retaliatory measures against Israel, initiating a series of punitive missile and drone assaults targeting critical locations within the contested regions.

The following day, Iran initiated a missile strike targeting the al-Udeid air base in Qatar, recognized as the largest American military installation in West Asia.

Iranian armed forces announced that the successful retaliatory operation, codenamed ‘Tidings of Victory’, was conducted in response to what they described as the “blatant military aggression by the criminal regime of the United States” targeting the Islamic Republic’s nuclear facilities.

This installation functions as the command center for the US Air Force and is regarded as the most crucial strategic asset of the American military presence in the West Asian region.
