Death Toll Escalates: 935 Lives Lost Amid Zionist Offensive Against Iran

Iran's Judiciary has reported that the death toll from Israeli actions, backed by the United States, has risen to over 900.

According to recent statistics released by the Forensic Medicine Organization, Judiciary spokesman Asghar Jahangir announced on Monday that 935 casualties, including 38 children and 102 women, some of whom were pregnant, have been identified in connection with the 12-day conflict initiated by the Zionist regime against the Islamic Republic.

In the assault on Evin Prison, a total of 79 individuals lost their lives. Among the deceased were primarily family members of inmates, aid workers, and employees associated with the facility.

At a press conference in Tehran, the spokesperson articulated that global observers have seen the conflict unfold, highlighting the belief that the illegitimate Zionist regime was the aggressor in the imposed war. He emphasized that Iran was attacked during ongoing negotiations and maintained that the nation rightfully defended itself and remained resolute on the battlefield.

Evidence has surfaced indicating that both the United States and Zionist regimes have allegedly breached foundational tenets of international law. These actions reportedly transgressed numerous boundaries, involved committing historic violations, and targeted Iran’s peaceful nuclear sites, despite Iran’s adherence to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).

He highlighted that the Islamic Republic remains alert and prepared to deliver a “necessary and proportionate response” against any potential acts of aggression by adversaries.

In a recent statement, Jahangir asserted that adversaries had attempted to incite unrest and disorder among the Iranian populace. However, he highlighted that the nation’s display of “exemplary and historic unity” effectively thwarted these efforts.

He highlighted the alleged conspiracy to destabilize the nation through the assassination of military leaders and scientists, noting that the adversaries were met with a prompt response. This response was under the “wise guidance” of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, who appointed capable successors for those targeted.

He stated that adversaries attempted to undermine Iran’s internal security through the deployment of mercenaries, espionage activities, and sabotage networks. However, numerous infiltrators were detected and apprehended, owing to the alertness of the populace and the diligence of the judicial authorities.

On June 13, Israel initiated a significant and unprovoked offensive against Iran, resulting in the assassination of several high-ranking military commanders, nuclear scientists, and ordinary civilians.

Over a week after initial developments, the United States has joined the fray by targeting three Iranian nuclear facilities. This action represents a significant breach of the United Nations Charter, international law, and the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).

In retaliation, Iranian military units launched attacks on key strategic locations throughout the occupied territories, including the al-Udeid air base in Qatar, recognized as the largest U.S. military installation in the West Asian region.

On June 24, Iran effectively executed retaliatory operations targeting both Israeli forces and the United States, successfully bringing a temporary halt to the alleged acts of aggression.
